Back in the Big Apple!

We truly hated to depart the Hamptons, however we had a fun filled night to look forward to in NYC.

The scenery was gorgeous and we spotted tons of lighthouses.
Beautiful seaside estates.
Brad loving his time at the helm.
Pulling into the city on the East River!
Back in New York and you can already feel the electricity of the city.
So many old buildings, history & stories to be told.
We thought it would only be appropriate to toast to the occasion at 11am.
It's 5'clock somewhere.
Cruising under the GW!

It might have been a bit windy...

Seriously.

Is it wrong to showcase the U.N. this way? HA!

The Headquarters of the United Nations is a complex in New York City. The complex has served as the official headquarters of the United Nations since its completion in 1952. It is located in the Turtle Bay neighborhood of Manhattan, on spacious grounds overlooking the East River. Its borders are First Avenue on the west, East 42nd Street to the south, East 48th Street on the north and the East River to the east. The term "Turtle Bay" is occasionally used as a metonym for the UN headquarters or for the United Nations as a whole. Although it is situated in New York City, the land occupied by the United Nations Headquarters and the spaces of buildings that it rents are under the sole administration of the United Nations and not the US government. They are technically extraterritorial through a treaty agreement with the U.S. government. However, in exchange for local police, fire protection and other services, the United Nations agrees to acknowledge most local, state, and federal laws.

That's why when you're a diplomat you have full diplomatic immunity.

Andypants & Trixie...loving their afternoon photo sesh.
NHYC would be proud.
Andrew & I both were having fun collecting photographic
evidence around the statue of Liberty.
The view heading back to our marina. Epic!
And the sweet IGY Marina guy at the ready for us.
Andypants & Trixie had to make their way to the Four Seasons
so Andrew could prep for his big meetings the following day.
Meanwhile...back at the ranch.

The marina surge was something to see. The boat rocked side to side every 30 minutes or so when the ferry went by.

Bish was about to get crazy with the hose.
At least he wasnt this kinda crazy...

Then...
    New Yorks finest pulled up!
They were just checking out the marina on their patrol.

Next up for the evening was dinner at The 21 Club. Andrew's point man Clay joined us!
Brad and Clayster chatting up a storm.
Val looked dapper & handsome as always.

The ceiling of The 21 Club was bedazzled with transportation models.
Linda brought her A game as usual & dazzled us with stories
about the crush Christopher Walken had on her!
That vixen...And a very accomplished Broadway actress!

After dinner we went to the only place in town...

The boys looked smashing!

After many an hour there,
it was time to go...Andypants fave driver awaited.
Brad, Clay, the girls & I all outlasted Andrew & Val.
Clay somehow stuffed himself into the backseat...
the one that didn't exist in the trunk! Ridin' dirty baby.
We crushed it in the backseat.

Karen & Linda bid each other adieu for now. Parting is such sweet sorrow.
Now for the most important part of the night.
Off to SLEEP.
